|  The open-air museum in Ballenberg is located on a large area over the Brienzer lake. There you can not only find century-old buildings and different settlement types that originate from all the different parts of Switzerland, but also demonstrations of traditional crafts and special events. On the Ballenberg mountain you will enter a world which looks like it is centuries old: with original fields and gardens, 250 domestic farm animals, production of iron and coal.
